The calm crystal clear waters of Shoal Bay are prefect for swimming, kayaking, fishing and stand up paddle boarding. Ride along and explore the scenic foreshore where you will find picnic tables and barbecue facilities, for the active guests you are able to hire Stand Up Paddle boards and Bikes.
At the eastern end of the bay is the magnificent Tomaree National Park where you can explore the paved Historic Fort Tomaree walk around the headland for the reminders of Australia's World War II coastal defense, from there you can enjoy the Tomaree Head summit walk for amazing breathtaking panorama views of Port Stephens and the NSW North Coast, if your lucky you can even spot whales during their migration season. Take the time to enjoy some of the stunning local beaches in the area Shoal Bay Beach, Zenith Beach, Wreck Beach and Box Beach.
Shoal Bay offers a selection of cafes, restaurants and takeaway fish and chips shops, enjoy a meal over looking Shoal Bay Beach at Shoal Bay Country club or explore the tastes of authentic Greek food at Atmos, take the time to sit and enjoy the views of Shoal Bay at Port Stephens Game Fish Club.

You can check in anytime between the hours of 3PM and 5PM on Weekdays. On weekdays after-hours, weekends and public holidays there is an afterhours check-in service. If you require this service, please inform one of the members at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay prior to your day of arrival.

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8.00 AM.
