Events

Parkruns are free, weekly, community events all around the world. Saturday morning events are 5k and take place in parks and open spaces. Parkrun is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience… where there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

The Port Stephens Community Arts Centre’s upcoming exhibition, running from 26 March to 5 May 2025, will showcase a stunning collection of nautical-themed and mixed media artworks. Featured artist David… Tompkins will present his expressive paintings and drawings, while featured potter Tara Zanjani will display her uniquely crafted ceramic pieces. Visitors can also explore fine pottery, leathercraft, and photography alongside works from the Monday Mixed Media group. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm; Sunday 10am to 1pm. Location is Cultural Close, off Shoal Bay Road, Nelson Bay.
